The URL leading to the administration panel is https://bladeX.wdex.com:2083. Substitute the letter X in “bladeX” for the number which you received in an e-mail sent to you when you first registered your WebDeal Express account. For instance, if your number is 1, your URL would be blade1.wdex.com:2083.
If you would like to change your password, go to the administration panel and choose “Preferences”, then click on “Change Password”. If you have lost your password and would like to order a new one, please contact support@wdex.com.
You can easily transfer your domain name when placing an order for your WebDeal Express hosting plan. If you already have a WebDeal Express account and would like to transfer your domain to us, please contact support@wdex.com.
You are free to choose any registrar for your domain. However, it is important to choose a reliable registrar. If you don't know any registrars or have any previous experience with registering domains, we therefore advise you to let us register and administer your domain name for you.
You can get the authorization code for your domain by sending an e-mail to support@wdex.com. Please note that the code will only be sent to the e-mail address registered as technical contact for the domain in the Whois database.
Whois information can be changed by sending us a form called “Amending administrative contact details”, if your domain is a .no domain. For all other top level domains, the person registered as technical or administrative contact for the domain can send us a written request via e-mail, fax or postal mail.
If your domain is registered through another hosting provider, you have to contact them in order to change your DNS settings. You will find the right DNS pointers in the e-mail that was sent to you along with your account information when you first registered your WebDeal Express account.
With our Extended 7-Day Backup, we will store all data that has been changed in the last 7 days. Files that have been deleted from the server are being stored 10 days.
We are using IBM Tivoli Storage Manager as backup system, which is a solution that helps us manage your backup in a secure, easy, effective and safe way. Your data will be both well protected and easily available.
